We're an online platform, not an agency. That means you're in the driver's seat from the very beginning. You post what you need, browse profiles and choose the care worker who feels like the right fit. You agree on the schedule and the rate together.

No one is sent to your door without your approval. No middle person is deciding who looks after your whānau.

Our Care Workers

Every care worker on Mycare has been through our trust and safety process before they can work on the platform.


MoJ Criminal Background Check: Every worker undergoes and has to clear a Ministry of Justice Background Check which is reviewed personally by our team.

Identity verified We check passports, driver licences or Kiwi Access cards against their Mycare profile.

Work-eligible Visa checks are completed for anyone without an NZ passport.

Experienced and compassionate Our community includes carers with backgrounds in aged care, disability support, palliative care, rehabilitation, and more.

We talk to each carer before they join, they sign a code of conduct and we validate their relevant credentials
